Who We Are
My name is Fiona and I established UltiMutt Grooming originally under the name of 4 Paws Grooming back in 2003. With 4 Paws Grooming I was based in Oxfordshire for 15 years, then in 2018 I relocated to Taunton, Somerset, with the move came the name change to UltiMutt Grooming. It was sad to leave my thriving business but life has brought me to beautiful Somerset, a place I've always loved.
I am a big animal lover and have two Hungarian Wire Haired Vizslas. In their younger days I trained and competed in agility and my eldest even got a 2nd place at Crufts in the show ring. My first dog was a West Highland Terrier named Mac, who we sadly lost in April 2014 at the amazing age of 17 years, he was the first dog I ever groomed and remains at the forefront of UltiMutt Grooming. I also had a beautiful rescue lurcher named Lubi, who I rehomed from the kennels that I first worked in, she was a Saluki X Whippet.
From school I did an Animal Care Course and went on to working in Boarding Kennels. There, I had some experience in dog grooming through helping the professionals and decided I would like to take it up more seriously and achieved my National Diploma in dog grooming of all breeds. Since then, I haven't looked back and still thoroughly enjoy working with dogs and getting great job satisfaction, it really is the most rewarding job and I love what I do.
