Policy's


A few important notes which help UltiMutt Grooming run smoothly.


Please give at least 24 hours notice if you can not attend your appointment.  Failure to do so will result in a fee, which is charged at a rate of 50% of the grooming appointment missed/cancelled late. This is payable before any other appointments are made for you. 

Please arrive on time for your appointment. I work to a tight schedule, therefore if you are more than 15 minutes late I may not have time to groom your dog(s). A 50% missed appointment charge will then apply per dog.

Please also arrive on time to collect your dog(s). I work on a one to one basis and have no cages in my salon, which keeps it a stress free experience, therefore, in the best interest of your dog(s), appointments must not overlap. A £5 charge will incur, per every half an hour, after the arranged time of collection. 

Please try to keep your pet up to date with their flea treatment. If your dog has fleas I will have to use a flea shampoo on your dog and also spray the salon to avoid them crossing to other clients dogs, therefore an extra £5 charge will apply to cover these costs.

My diary fills up very quickly at peak times, so if you are booking appointments via text or email, please respond as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment.  Appointments can not be held for several hours and are given on a first come, first serve basis. 

Thats all for the serious bits, I know unforeseen circumstances can arise, so hopefully I won't have to apply any extra charges but please try and comply with the above. Thank you.

Privacy Policy


Ultimutt grooming takes your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting your personal information. This notice sets out how the information that you provide me with is used, so I can provide you a grooming service. 

Your Information
I will need to collect data such as your name, phone number and email. I need these so I can contact you to collect your dog or if there is a problem. Without this information I cannot provide a safe grooming service. Emails are needed for the reminder service which helps reduce missed appointments. 

I may also collect photos and or videos of your dog/s for social media and promotional publications, as well as on my website. If you do not consent and wish for your dog/s to be excluded from this please let us know.

How your information will be stored
Your contact details and details about your pet will be kept in a file locked away in my home. Your details  are also kept electronically on my iPad, through shakeyourtail.com a specialist dog grooming schedule software, which sends out appointment reminders. This is SSL encrypted, password protected and can only be accessed by myself. I may also store your phone numbers as a contact in my phone for ease of use, which is protected by a password/finger print recognition unique to me.

How the law applies to Ultimutt Grooming's use of personal information 
I will only use your personal information if I have:
- Asked you and have a record of your consent for us to do so.
- A legal obligation to use or disclose information about you.

Ultimutt Grooming will not rent, swap or sell your personal information to other organisations for them to use in their own marketing activities.

How long do I need to keep your information?
As a customer of Ultimutt Grooming I will hold your information for 2 years after you last contacted me. After this time any paper records / electronically stored records I may have will be deleted, shredded and disposed of and any contacts in my phone deleted.
